Advocaat De Bakker benaderde me via LinkedIn met de vraag of ik hem kan helpen aan een huisstijl. We hebben samen een uurtje gezeten en gebrainstormd over het doel, de doelgroep en hoe hij zichzelf in de markt wil zetten. Daarbij hebben we gekeken wat er binnen de advocatuur gedaan wordt en hoe de huisstijl hierbij past, maar toch onderscheidend is.

De typografie is stijlvol en formeel, daarnaast heeft het gebruik van kleinkapitalen (kleine hoofdletters) een exclusieve uitstraling. Dit past bij de doelgroep van erfgenamen van vaak vermogende erflaters. Verder geven de kleinkapitalen body aan het logo wat de daadkracht van de advocaat weergeeft. Typografie heeft de leidende rol. Dit is binnen de advocatuur gewoon. Daarom zijn we daar niet van afgeweken, maar wel hebben we er een unieke twist op gemaakt zodat het logo onderscheidend is. Doordat er bij alle kapitalen van ‘De Bakker’ een gedeelte weggehaald is toont het logo modern en is er openheid. Met deze gedachte van openheid proberen we de duidelijkheid van zijn benadering weer te geven. Advocaat De Bakker had zelf al een website. Hierop hebben we de huisstijl doorvertaald. Denk aan wat codeer werk en visuals. Op de homepage is een grote foto van De Bakker als blikvanger ingezet, wat een mystieke sfeer geeft wat past bij het raadselachtige van een casus. Immers, van te voren is nog niet bekend wat de uitslag wordt. Om duidelijkheid te creëren op een pagina is er bovenaan een visual met het kernbegrip van de tekst. Deze kernbegrippen kan hij zelf aanmaken in Word en uploaden op de website. Zo kan je binnen de website nog verder zoeken voor meer specifieke informatie.
