In vaktermen UX design, oftewel; voor een mobiele website heb je een ander logo nodig dan op een briefpapier.  Dus verschillende versies, liggend, staand, met plaatje, zonder plaatje, alleen tekst, alleen beeld, enz.

Het kan er fancy uitzien, maar kan je het ook drukken? Veel ‘wannabe-ontwerpers’ maken dingen die online op een scherm er heel cool uitzien, maar niet te drukken zijn… Met mijn 3 jaar DTP geschiedenis bij een drukkerij weet ik hier een antwoord op.

3 Verschillende richtingen dus. Een concept is eigenlijk een idee. Hoe fijn het ook lijkt om gelijk een logo te laten maken, hoe minder je later echt kan terugvallen op een goede basis gedachte. Alles staat of valt hiermee. Het geeft een koers aan je hele merk.

Verschil met concept is dat een ontwerp een praktische (concrete) invulling is van een idee (concept).

Om niet nodeloos heen-en-weer te mailen en bellen en daarmee teveel tijd kwijt te zijn aan details. Om dit te voorkomen heb ik van te voren een intake door middel van een vragenlijst. Hiermee voorkom ik dat we langs elkaar heen praten en we daar dus tijd aan verspillen. Afstemming is essentieel voor een goede samenwerking!

Ik zeg bewust ontwikkelingstijd. In de praktijk moet jij er als klant ook nog over nadenken, om de knoop door te hakken. Tijd nemen voor feedback. Dit verschilt per klant. Ik heb klanten die gelijk met het eerste voorstel verkocht zijn (makkie dus) en klanten waar ik soms na 10x nog niet het juiste logo heb ontworpen. Dit heeft ook met afstemming te maken. Een logo ontwerpen is een creatief proces wat tijd kost vandaar dus dat het in de praktijk zelden in 5 dagen af is. Ik kan een logo maken in een uur als het moet, alleen dan zit er niet die hele filosofie achter, is het afgeraffeld en zie je duidelijk verschil.
